The National Weather Service has extended a Yellow River flood warning for Rockdale County until Thursday evening.
At 10 a.m. Wednesday the stage was at 11.9 feet. Flood stage for the Yellow River is higher than 11.0 feet.
The river will continue to rise near 12.6 feet by Wednesday evening. The river will fall below flood stage by early afternoon Thursday.
