IN BRIEF: had fireworks afterall this year though these were unintentional after a temporary tent set-up in the parking lot next to Burger King on Hwy 138 caught fire in the early morning hours Friday. Rockdale Fire and Rescue responded to the scene around 3:30 am and were able to extinguish the fire within 15 minutes. The cause the fire is not known at this time, according to officials.
