CONYERS - Two adult family members were arrested for engaging in sexual acts together and abusing a juvenile.

According to the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office (RCSO) spokesperson Cpl. Michael Camp, Albert Bennett, IV, 47, and his 18-year-old daughter Jazma Hayes, were caught engaging in a sexual act in the restroom of a motel room by Bennet's 12-year-old son, who is also Haynes' half-brother.

After being caught in the act by the young boy, who was in another part of the Country Inns & Suites, 1312 Old Covington Hwy, Conyers, motel room, Bennett punched the child in the face and Hayes pushed him in the head, according to Camp. The boy was then transported to his mother's house in Lithonia, Georgia, where she reported the attacks.

"I don't know if (his nose) was broken, but there were visible injuries to his face," said Camp.

It's unclear at the moment why the family was in the motel room. Bennett is listed as a Conyers resident with a place at 2122 Absolute Way, Conyers.

Hayes has been living in the area for a few months. She originally grew up in Illinois with an adoptive mother. Her adoptive mother passed away recently, says Camp. She made contact with Bennett roughly two to three months ago.

The two have been having a sexual relationship ever since.

It's unclear how involved Bennett has been in Hayes' life, but Camp says he knew she was his daughter. Hayes listed Bennett's wife's residence as her current living address. Bennett and his wife are in the process of getting a divorce.

Bennett and Hayes are both being charged with sodomy, incest, battery and cruelty to children. He's in the Rockdale County Jail with no bond, while she has a $55,500 bond.
