About 150 elementary and middle school students spent the week-long February break exploring new fields and worlds during enrichment camps held at Rockdale Career Academy. Courses included "Cooking Up Culture," where students explored the world through food such as North African kabobs, couscous, and Japanese sushi, "Crime Scene Investigating," "Monster Mayhem," where students used technology, texts, and hands on activities to learn about monsters of the past and present, "Mass Measurement Mania," "Tropical Culture Explosion," a celebration of Polynesian culture in "Hawaiian Luau," and "Alaskan Adventure."
