DENARD, Doris Hopkins

Mrs. Doris Hopkins Denard, age 89 of Conyers, died December 5, 2011. She is survived by daughters, Helen Thompson and Carol Moore; son-in-law, Jim Moore; grandsons, James Erick Moore and Joseph Britton Moore; brother, Herbert Hopkins; sister, Virginia Hobbs.  Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Resthaven Cemetery, Washington, GA with Rev. Howard Greer officiating.  The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel.  Mrs. Denard was a member of First Baptist Church Conyers. She was a volunteer for Rockdale Hospital for 15 years; also was a volunteer for "Meals on Wheels" in Conyers and various other volunteer organizations.
