Traffic is flowing again after a single vehicle crash on I-20 westbound near the Highway 138 exit blocked all lanes around 2:45pm while authortities worked to transport the five victims to the hospital.

According to witnesses, a maroon SUV flipped over multiple times after attempting to avoid another car that had been swerving in and out of traffic. Two men, a woman, an infant and a young child were in the SUV.

A witness from a nearby business on Iris Drive said he and his business partner jumped the fence when they saw the crash and kicked out the car window to help the woman who was trapped inside. He said they stepped back when firefighters and police got onto the scene.
