Conyers mayoral election

Dear City of Conyers Residents and Voters: The upcoming mayoral election may be as important as any we have had in our city's history.

We need good, honest, leadership more than ever before. Two candidates have qualified and we ask the voters to become informed about the two candidates before casting your vote.

Mayor Randy Mills has served the City of Conyers for 12 years as mayor. He has a record of financially responsible leadership and trust. He is a long-time member of our community both as a neighbor and a businessman.

He is someone we can trust with the city's future and our money. In tough economic times like this, it is this experience and leadership that we so desperately need.

His opponent, Kathy Harvey, has filed personal bankruptcy six times; five times since 2002. She has had a felony criminal case pending in the Superior Court of Newton County since 2006 where she is charged with theft by conversion and forgery first degree.

It is obvious that Mayor Mills is the most qualified person to lead our great city.

Every vote is important. The city of Conyers needs your help and your vote. Please vote Nov. 3 for Mayor Randy Mills.

Sincerely,
Ed and Linda Carter
