The Conyers Garden Club met Oct. 11 at the home of Pat Bryan of Covington. Jackie Thorne and Joyce Andrews served light refreshments. Russ Brown from the Lowes Garden Center spoke to the club about the best bulbs to plant in this area, how to choose good bulbs, and how to winterize bulbs. He also discussed the best bulbs for the club’s “Plantings for Public and Special Places” community landscape projects in the Light House Village and Old Jailhouse Museum.
