The Conyers Police Department Explorer Post 2222 recently participated in the Michigan State Explorer Competition. Explorers participated in several categories and placed first in the domestic violence competition with a perfect score of 100. Explorer Post 2222 is a division of the CPD consisting of young men and women ages 14-20 interested in learning more about a career in law enforcement. Explorers meet weekly with CPD advisors and learn law enforcement skills such as self defense, traffic stops, handcuffing techniques and Georgia law.
