Rockdale County's constitutional officers will host a joint town hall meeting on Thursday, March 27, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at J.P. Carr Services Center Community Room, 981 Taylor Street in Conyers. The meeting offers citizens an opportunity to learn about each office, ask questions, and meet with their constitutional officers - Clerk of Courts Ruth Wilson, Probate Judge Charles Mays, Sheriff Eric Levett and Tax Commissioner RJ Hadley.

Constitutional officers are elected county officials whose positions are required by the Constitution of the State of Georgia and whose duties are provided by general law. The clerk of courts, probate judge, sheriff and tax commissioner are the only four positions required in each of Georgia's 159 counties. Each officer is a member of the Constitutional Officers Association of Georgia.

The town hall meeting is open to the public and citizens are encouraged to attend.
