Noble came to the store located at 979 Iris Dr. NE, in October. Along with Public Relations Manager and County Commissioner Oz Nesbitt, Noble and Kia of Conyers is striving to give more back to Conyers. The dealership recently donated a $1,500 check to the NAACP on Monday, and is in the process of doing more within the community.
"We also plan to sponsor local events to give money back to the community," Noble said. "What we're trying to do is get more involved in the community of Conyers."
Recently Kia opened a plant in West Point, near LaGrange. The company announced plans for its first American plant on March 13, 2006, and rolled out its first vehicle on Nov. 16 last year.
The 2011 Kia Sorento is the first car built by the brand in the United States and comes with what is standard for Kia, a 10-year, 100,000 mile warranty.
"Kia has come from nowhere and they are vastly committed to this market," Noble said. "And, you can tell by the plant built in LaGrange, and the all-new 2011 Kia Sorento."
The Sorento and other vehicles are available at the Iris Drive location Monday through Saturday.
The sales department is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until 8 p.m.
The parts and service department is open on Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 6 p.m., but has recently extended its hours to Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Noble said the three-year-old store is also looking to upgrade its facilities in the future.
