Dear Editor: It is suggested that you have a pencil and note pad available to record your observations for future reference. The essence of concern, or lack thereof, for providing community access to government operations is depicted, live and in living color, up close and personal and with emphasis on each individual official’s mutually exclusive interest in ensuring informed constituents and citizens, businesses and individuals who frequent the assets of Rockdale County. Rockdale County has intentionally limited access while using tax dollars to ensure "trickle down," unilateral omission, misrepresentation of selective government procedures while aborting Education, and Community Access as intended by the 2001 Franchise Agreement. Although formally advised, the BOC has aborted addressing the obligations of the agreement. If this Retreat is not successful, the camera will document the aborted opportunity. Will there be progress in informing citizens. What say you, informed voters with inquiring minds?
