Donations of toys and needed supplies will help make the holidays brighter for about 1,200 kids in Rockdale County.

The Christmas Hope for the Holidays event, organized by the Rockdale Coalition for Children and Families and One Heart Ministries, received approximately 3,000 to 4,000 toys from many individuals and organizations in the community.

Volunteers helped to organize and distribute the toys stored at Discover Point Church on Dec. 20.
