The football players aren't the only athletes performing well in the Rockdale Youth Football Association.

Also putting on their best performance is the cheerleaders that support them.

The Rockdale Youth Football and Cheerleading Association recently won first place in the Youth Cheerleading Competition held at Tucker High School. It marked the first time the 11-year old division won the top prize.

Coached by Stephanie Wilson-Armstead, the team consists of Ariyanna Walston, Jasmine Bankston, Mikenzie Armstead, N'Kai Johnson, Kiara Cannon, Minikka Collins, Kalissa Mario, MaKayla Wright, Olivia Menchion, Lauryn McCray, Junio Carr, Soraya Hill and Bailey Hairston.
