Two men, allegedly responsible for the robbery of Metro PCS store in Conyers just before New Year's Eve, are in police custody.

Tyson Perryman, 25, was apprehended Friday at an apartment in DeKalb County by the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force. Timothy Cason, 26, was arrested Jan. 30 by Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office for a separate armed robbery case.

On Dec. 30, the two suspects allegedly robbed the phone retail store at 2020 Eastside Drive wielding black semi-automatic handguns. The suspects fled the scene with what was described as a "small amount of cash" from the store's cash register.

No one was hurt during the incident.

Rockdale County Sheriff's Office investigators identified Cason based on surveillance video footage taken inside the store, says RCSO Cpl. Michael Camp. He's currently in Gwinnett County Jail and will be transported to Rockdale County Jail thereafter to face the armed robbery charge.

Perryman is in Rockdale County jail facing an armed robbery.
