Staff, relatives and teachers gathered at the Barksdale Boys and Girls Club on Oct. 22 to celebrate its seventh annual Hispanic Heritage Festival. The entertainment included the traditional folkloric dances from Mexico, the Turks & Caicos Island, piñatas and a play organized by Ki’Te Kidz Entertainment. Food was donated by Don Tello’s Mexican Restaurant, Los Charros Mexican Restaurant, Frontera Mex Mex Grill andTaco Bell in Conyers.
