Salem continued to struggle on Friday with injuries plaguing the Salem Seminoles as they fell 36-10 to Cedar Shoals on Friday.
It was the second straight loss for Salem, which has had several key players relegated to the sidelines.
Three offensive starters and three on defense were out against Cedar Shoals, and Salem did nothing else to help its cause.
Turnovers and penalties interrupted the offense as it had trouble sustaining drives.
"The bottom line is we just keep killing ourselves with penalties and tough turnovers and blown assignments," Salem coach John Starr said. "We're just not playing very focused football."
The Salem Seminoles (4-4) moved the ball early but turned it over on a key drive and had penalties stifle another. They did go up 2-0 on a safety, but couldn't managed any other points.
The Jaguars (3-4) went up 15-2 at halftime, and scored on the opening drive of the second half.
Salem then moved the ball down the field but threw an interception in Jaguars' territory.
Cedar Shoals added another score late in the game.
The Salem Seminoles will come back home to host Winder-Barrow on Friday.
