Mrs. Carolyn A. Wilson, age 90 of Conyers, died Monday, October 31, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, S. Glenn Wilson, Jr. She is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Judy & Michael Lurey, Madison, Gayle Price, Lithonia; son and daughter-in-law, Michael & Ann Wilson, Stockbridge; sister, Joyce Brown, Conyers; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends, and will be greatly missed by all. Mrs. Wilson retired from C & S Bank Trust Department after 23 years of service. She was past worthy advisor for Kirkwood Rainbow Assembly #13 and a member of Gleaners chapter #347 of Order of Eastern Star. She was a member of Light of Calvary Baptist Church and active in the Senior Bible Study at East Side Baptist Church. She was a former member of American Quilting Society and the Red Hat Ladies of Conyers. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 4, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel with Rev. Terry Brock and Dr. Bob Halstead officiating; interment will follow at Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
