The Georgia Department of Labor and Springfield Baptist Church will host a Career Expo for veterans and other job seekers on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., at 1877 Iris Dr in Conyers.
Veterans’ representatives from the GDOL DeKalb Career Center will be available to provide employment-related and other services to veterans, while other GDOL staff members will aid non-veterans.
The event will feature about 40 employers, educational institutions, and resource agencies that provide assistance to job seekers. Some employers will be hiring, while others will discuss possible future employment opportunities with the job seekers. Some organizations will provide educational and other resources. Applicants should bring plenty of resumes and be prepared to fill out company applications and interview for available job openings. Attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for employment.

S.
