A candlelight vigil for Adrian Tyrone Snow, the 40-year-old man who was shot and killed when he walked into an armed robbery at the Conyers GameStop on Thursday, is being organized for Wednesday, Nov. 17, 6 p.m. at the Conyers GameStop location.

Snow, the father of two high school aged girls who reportedly attend a Rockdale County high school, was coming to the store to exchange a few games during his lunch break.

When the perpetrators tried to tie him up in the back of the store, he resisted and they shot in the arm and hand. Snow was airlifted to Grady where he later died from his injuries.

Community organizer Iffat Walker said she spoke with a GameStop regional manager who granted permission to hold the vigil at the Conyers Plaza location, which is across from the Conyers Wal-Mart. Walker said she only recently realized the victim was a cousin of her ex-husband. "It completely hit home in a different way," she said.

Snow's funeral arrangements are currently being worked out.
