If you’re looking at your growing gift list with horror and wondering how you’re ever going to get it covered without breaking the bank, or if you simply love, love, love a good bargain, this is the perfect place for you. 

The Great American gift clearance sale returns for the fifth year to the Georgia International Horse Park, Dec. 4-10, with more than 600 different gift items, gift wraps, and accessories at 85 to 95 percent off retail price. 

This means you won’t be paying more than $1 or $1.50 for most items. 

Fashion jewelry, holiday items, totes, kitchen items, prize trinkets, bath and beauty products, children’s books, bows, ribbons and that thick, quality gift wrap that you covet but hate to splurge on. Go ahead, get it all. 

“It’s a service to the community for getting great deals,” said Warehouse Sales Manager Tom Raines. “It’s great for teacher gifts, Sunday school classes, stocking stuffers and inexpensive gifts you can buy for occasions throughout the year.”

Raines said teachers are the sale’s biggest customers, using the items for Secret Santa workshops or parties for their students. Others purchase items to be given as gifts for birthdays, anniversaries and other events throughout the year.

“It’s great for building gift baskets,” Raines pointed out. Gift baskets have a high impact for low cost and all the items are new and boxed.

The sale is open Dec. 4-9 at 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Dec. 10 at 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. The first couple days see a rush of regulars, so be prepared to shop and dress warmly since the Exhibition Hall that houses the sale is not heated.
