Fans of both bicycles and motor bikes will be out in force on the streets of Conyers.

For the muscle-powered kind of biking, there is the first ever Kids Bike Fest at the Boys and Girls Club on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 8 a.m. to noon. Come out for a chance to have a bike safety check and adjustment, learn about bicycle safety, meet a bicycle patrolman from the Conyers Police Department and practice riding safely on a fun bicycle obstacle course. All activities are free but a parent or a guardian must sign-in with each child. The festival is sponsored by the Conyers Main Street Foundation, Conyers Police Department, Conte's Bikes and Fitness, Boys and Girls Club of Conyers and Covington Conyers Cycling Club.

The Spoke N' for Motorcycle Ministry will hold a Fall Harvest Festival Oct. 3 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Olde Town Pavilion on Main Street in Olde Town Conyers. The festival features games, entertainment, craft booths, food and more. Tickets are $7 for each child ages 3 and up, and all tickets purchased will be entered in a special drawing.
