United Way of Rockdale and Jim N' Nicks are cooking up the 13th Annual BBQ Fundraiser Thursday, Sept. 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Rockdale Career Academy.

To ensure a plate of pulled pork (Jim ‘N Nicks BBQ sauce on the side), baked beans, cole slaw, pickles, bread, deli cookie, drink and a Jim ‘N Nicks $5 coupon orders must be placed by Monday, Sept. 23 for a cost of $10 purchased at RCA.

The BBQ sale is the biggest fundraising event for United Way, which is more in demand than ever.

The fundraiser is a partnership with the United Way and Family Promise of NewRock, a local non-profit organization serving the needs of homeless families in Rockdale and Newton counties.
