The Rockdale County Sheriff's Office arrested two suspects who walked up to a group on foot and robbed at least five people at gunpoint in the Fountain Crest subdivision on June 1.

On Wednesday, around 11:10 P.M., deputies received a call that two young black males - later identified as Reshard D'Amata Carter, 20, Conyers and Dominique Stefan Richardson, 21, of Atlanta - had assaulted and robbed multiple people, ranging from 18 to 20 years old. One suspect was described as light-complexioned with dreadlocks.

One of the victims told deputies he and his friends were leaving a house on Fall River Drive and walking towards his car, which was parked a few houses down, when two black males dressed in all black came from the garage side of the house and pointed guns at the group and demanded money.

Another victim, a 20-year-old from Conyers, told deputies he was punched on the left side of his face and told to lay down on the ground.

The suspects reportedly held a gun to the head of another person in the group, who told deputies he slapped it away and ran to the car. The suspects then walked up to the car demanding money and the victim gave them $45.

Another victim in the group who was getting into the car was reportedly robbed of his iPod and $200.

The suspects put a gun to the leg of another person who was already in the car and took another iPod and a dollar from him.

Another deputy spotted two suspects at the entrance of the subdivision matching the description given by the victims. The suspects were identified by the victims as being the ones that robbed them at gunpoint and arrested.

Carter was charged with two counts of armed robbery and Richardson was charged with one count of armed robbery. Both were booked into the Rockdale County jail.
