If you would like to help fulfill a Christmas wish for a child this holiday, stop by Johnson Park over the next three weeks, Rockdale Emergency Relief Fund and Rockdale's parks and recreation division are hosting a Wish Tree campaign through Dec. 4. County residents will have the opportunity to donate items ranging from clothes to toys for a child in need in the community.

Participants may pick up an angel from the Wish Tree at Johnson Park Recreation Center, located at 1837 Ebenezer Road. The angel should be returned to the Center along with a purchased, unwrapped gift and the donor's name will be entered in a drawing for a free annual family pass to the Center. The drawing will be held on December 4, but participants do not have to be present to win.
