Mr. George A. (Andy) Lowry, age 53 of Conyers, died Thursday, April 7, 2011.  He was a devoted family man and friend to many.  He is survived by his wife, Jean Lowry, Conyers; daughters, Emily Lowry, Birmingham, AL, Hayden Lowry, Conyers; stepdaughter, Jeanna Dickerson, Conyers; stepson, Robert Dickerson, Conyers; sister, Valerie Harp, Covington; brother, Mike Carter, Conyers, Mike Lowry, Covington; grandson, Drew Eaves; uncle, Jimmy Mote, Conyers; nieces and nephews.  Mr. Lowry was employed by Walker Concrete and was a local carpenter and handyman for many years.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 4 p.m. at Scot Ward Funeral Services Chapel with Rev.
