Peek’s Chapel Elementary School was the recipient of a Making the Shade Grant from the Georgia Forestry Commission. This grant enables the school to plant trees on the playground and other areas of the school campus. Business partners and sponsors in the community include: Arbor Equity Inc., Kip Hunter, Peek’s Chapel Art Classes, Rockdale Public Works, Rockdale Extension Service, Snapping Shoals EMC, Upper Ocmulgee RC&D.
