A little bit of magic and mystery will come to Olde Town Conyers on August 7 as the Conyers Rockdale Council for the Arts presents "An Evening of Enchantment," the inaugural masquerade ball to benefit the visual and performing arts programs in Rockdale County.

The ball will begin at 7 p.m. in the Olde Town Gallery and Studio, 909 Commercial Street. The evening will include live entertainment, dancing, hors d'oeuvres, wine, and a silent auction.

"With this magical evening, we hope to bring our community a beautiful and memorable way to support our many arts programs," said event chair Greta Beech.

Individual tickets are $75, couples $130. Formal evening wear or period attire requested. Each ticket will include a special mask created by Gallery artists to wear to the Ball. Limited tickets are available. To purchase tickets to the Masquerade Ball, visit the CRCA website at www.conyersarts.org.

CRCA organizations and events include the New Depot Players, live music performances, and visual arts showings, classes, forums and workshops at the Olde Town Gallery.

Sponsorship opportunities for the masquerade ball are also available. To become an official sponsor contact Colye Justman, executive director of the Olde Town Gallery and Studio, at 770-929-9242, or colye2@gmail.com.
