Still trying to come up with plans for Valentine's Day? If you're looking for something unique that your sweetheart will definitely enjoy, then mark your calendar for the Valentine's Extravaganza in Olde Town.
The Conyers-Rockdale Council for the Arts, along with the Olde Town Gallery and Studio, Conyers Florist, Borage Grill, Sigman Bottle Shop, and Creamberry's Ice Cream Parlor is sponsoring the very first Valentine's Day event in Olde Town.
The event will be held on Saturday, Feb. 13, a day before Valentine's Day. For only $100 a couple can enjoy the following: a five-course meal catered by Borage Grill with complimentary champagne, a rose for each woman provided by the Conyers Florist, a show at the Conyers-Rockdale Center of the Arts black box featuring jazz musician Derwin Daniels and his jazz band, chocolate and wine tasting provided by Sigman Bottle Shop with an art viewing at the Olde Town Art Gallery, and finally coffee or ice cream at Creamberry's Ice Cream.
The Council received a grant under the Georgia Council for the Arts' Grassroots Grant program (GAP) for the event. Valet parking is provided for all guests. Tickets for the concert only are also available for $15. Purchase tickets at the Conyers-Rockdale Center of the Arts or Borage Grill, or online at www.conyersarts.org.
