Four area churches, Allen Memorial UMC, Gum Creek Presbyterian, Oxford Baptist and Rust Chapel UMC, will participate in an interdenominational Community Thanksgiving Service at Old Church in Oxford. The service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. Reverend Ken Wilmesherr, pastor of Gum Creek Presbyterian, will preach. A Combined Choir directed by Steve Traylor (Oxford Baptist) will sing and the Allen Memorial UMC Handbell Choir will play. A monetary offering for FaithWorks will be received. You are also asked to bring canned goods to be donated to Solid Rock Food Pantry. Please plan to attend this great evening of worship and fellowship as we offer our praise and thanksgiving for God's blessings.
