Each year, Berean Baptist Church takes up an offering for the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. The full amount of this offering goes to missionaries associated with the North American Mission Board for salaries and ministry supplies. This in turn enables missionaries to help others hear the message of Christ in hopes of them responding in faith to his offer of salvation.

This year, the Children’s Ministry planned their first ever Bike-A-Thon to help raise money for the offering. The church-wide goal was set at $1,100, so the goal of the Children’s Ministry was set at $300.

On March 9, 15 children began an hour-long trek on their bikes to see how many laps they could complete. Every lap completed earned each child a bracelet. At the end of the hour, a bracelet count was done. The total laps combined were 565!

On March 10, the Children’s Ministry presented the church with a check for $1,518. This was more than three times their goal.

Berean Baptist Church of Covington is a bible believing, mission minded church. It is an honor to involve the children in missions so that they learn about the importance of giving and portray the love of Jesus.
