It has now been recognized as the top library in the state by the Hennen's American Public Library Ratings.

The recognition is given wisely using financial records, the number of people who use the system and the size of the community.

We know that the director of the library, Greg Heid, has taken the money he has been provided and worked wonders with it. He is a passionate and dedicated director and his enthusiasm permeates all the employees of the library.

We salute Greg Heid, his staff, the library board and dozens of volunteers for working so hard to continue to provide such an essential service to the residents of this community. We've known for years that the library boasted a knowledgeable, friendly staff, a wealth of resources and a comfortable atmosphere - we are glad that others in the state now know that too.
