We wholeheartedly endorse the recommendations made by Newton County Schools Superintendent Steve Whatley in regards to the Newton County theme schools.
The Clements school name will change to Clements Preparatory Academy - or Clements Prep for short.
The changes suggested by Whatley will encourage the students at the school to excel not only with their grades, but in life itself.
Because of these changes there should be a waiting list of students who wish to apply themselves in order to further their educations.
Parents are going to be held responsible for volunteering at the school, and if they don't become involved, their child should not be allowed to attend the new prep school.
