Our reason for hope

And He departed from our sight that we might return to our heart, and there find Him. For He departed, and behold, He is here. - St Augustine

Today is the holiest day in the Christian world.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the central message of Christianity and our reason for hope.

Over the last several years, the Christian belief and faith has been tested by many groups here in this country and around the world.

Christ's directive to turn the other cheek has been sorely tested.

But that's precisely the point: it has been tested and the test has been passed.

The Christian philosophy is one of peace, love and care for both family and neighbor alike.

In a short period of time on this earth, Christ taught us to love and help our neighbor and not to kill or persecute them because they have different belief.

The promise of Christ's resurrection is a life in the hereafter that will be filled with glory and peace, earned by our faith and good works not by who we kill to promote a faith that is intolerable to those that believe in it.

We wish you a very happy Easter; we pray that you have the opportunity to share your day with family and friends as you celebrate the true meaning of the light of the world.
