"The most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother."
~ Theodore Hesburgh
This is a special day, a day that traditionally is spent giving our moms gifts they don’t need and treating them to the best breakfasts and buffets we can afford.
The truth is most moms are just happy to see that we are happy and that their grandchildren are healthy and prospering.
There is such a special bond between children and their moms. Even if for some reason you don’t think that your mom is the best person on earth, you probably, in your way, are still trying your best to please her.
Most moms are the only people who will ever love you unconditionally, no matter how old you are.
So today, we hope you are planning to do all the things that society has taught us to do to honor our moms.
But when the day is over and you settle into your own private time of peace, take a few minutes to thank the good Lord for giving you just a small glimpse of what living with him will be like someday. Thank him for the best blessing he has given you, your mom.
Happy Mother’s Day, Mom and Grandma.
