Lunch with Lions

Like a gift that keeps on giving, our local Lions continue to give to our community.

The Lions’ major fund drives are used to ensure low-income people receive help with their eyesight.

The Lions are also usually involved in one form or another in every major good works project that happens in the county. They sponsor the annual Christmas parade in Covington. City and county residents look forward to the event each year.

In order to fund these projects, the 41st Annual Chicken BBQ will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, at the Academy Springs Park Clubhouse on Conyers Street. The tickets for this event can be purchased from a member of the Lions or at our local Ace Hardware store.

You can pick up lunches the day of the event, and if you have 25 or more orders, the Lions will deliver for free.
If you would like more information, call 770-860-1414.

Support our local Lions. Without their volunteer efforts, our community would be missing a major part of its heart.
