Having the Fourth of July fall in the middle of the week can make it tough to celebrate the holiday with family members who are only able to travel on the weekend.

Don't fear, the city of Covington has come to your rescue and will have its annual celebration all day Sunday from 2:30 p.m. until after 10 p.m., when the fireworks show starts.

With a diverse music lineup, food, face painting, inflatables and other vendors, the celebration should satiate anyone's desire for a fun Fourth celebration.

Check Friday's paper for the full details of the event, as well as details of the annual events in Oxford, Porterdale and Social Circle.
