Dear Editor: This week I learned that our subdivision (The Links) which we just moved into last week, was rezoned to Cousins Middle School. This news was quite upsetting to me due to the fact that our house hunt was based on moving into the Indian Creek/Eastside school zone.
I am curious of whether during this time of financial crisis and budget cutbacks if the cost of transportation was taken into consideration. We live approximately 1/2 of a mile from Indian Creek Middle School, but yet these children will now be bussed across town on a daily basis. I am sorry, but it does not seem financially logical what so ever.
