Dear Editor: The Society of SVDP would like to thank all who had a hand in making the Silent Auction and Wine Tasting on April 27, a success. We had a profound outpouring of generously donated items both local and beyond.

All of the profit will go to the Society which is a nonprofit organization. Fox Vineyards (wine and Fox Vineyard glasses), Sherry Odum (catered the event), Michael Frederick (music), are so much appreciated. We thank The Covington News for their donation and professional ad writer Diane Barber. SVDP members secured the items, packaged some of the baskets, set up, oversaw the event, and put the hall back in order for a wedding reception the for the next day. We appreciated all donated items whatever the value; however, there were numerous generous donors.

Room does not permit us to name all donors in the newspaper, like was done so in the program, however some of the
donations came from: A Bouquet by Betty, Badcock Home Furniture & more (Conyers), Bullritos, Ginn Motor Company, Farmer's Home Furniture, Georgia Tech, Home Depot, Lilly-Beth's General Store, Lowe's, Dr. Overton, Splash into Art, and Zoo Atlanta.

Most of all, we thank the guest who attended the event as your support will continue to help people in our county who are most in need and willing to become more independent.
