Dear sirs: I would like to make a brief comment on my experiences working with the City of Covington. I am a self employed contractor and have been working in the Newton County/Covington area for over 35 years. During this time, I have had nothing but great experiences working with the employees of the City of Covington. On calls involving gas, electric or water, the city personnel have been extremely helpful and courteous to me in helping me resolve any type of problem I had. They have definitely made my job much easier.

I have had the opportunity to work in other cities/municipalities across the state, but I have found none like the City of Covington. I am writing this letter to acknowledge how fortunate we are as a community to have the caliber of people that the City of Covington employs.
