Willie Maude Williams Haymons, 87, of Mansfield, died June 15. A native of Telfair County, where she lived most of her life, Mrs. Haymons was the daughter of the late Chester and Maude Locke Williams. She was the wife of the late George Washington Haymons Jr. Mrs. Haymons was an avid gardener, a homemaker and a member of Dodge's Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her children Judy Gore of Gray, Lynn Payne of Mansfield, Sue Smith of Jacksonville, Randy Haymons of Newborn, Diana Larkey of Douglas, Elizabeth Scarborough of Mansfield, and Gregory Haymons of Locust Grove; brothers Jerry Williams of Centerville and Calder Williams of Gray; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 18, in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home, McRae, with burial in Fishing Creek Cemetery in Lumber City. Visitation is 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. tonight, June 17.
