William Harold Bailey, 82, of Oxford, died March 16. He was born in Statesboro on Aug. 18, 1927 as the son of the late Robert Milton Bailey and the late Lillie Mae Nesmith Bailey. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy White Bailey.

 He is survived by his daughter, Patsy B. Long of Monroe; sons and daughters-in-law, Hal and Robyn Bailey of Oxford, Larry and Elaine Bailey of McDonough, and Tony and Jill Bailey of Cumming; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

 Funeral Services were held on Thursday, March 18 at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Conner and the Rev. Scott Moore officiating. Interment followed at Westlawn Cemetery.
