Tyler Seagraves, of Covington, passed away November 12, 2014, at the age of 88. Seagraves served his country in the United States Navy. He loved his family and enjoyed being outside, going hunting, fishing and working in his garden. When not traveling for work, he loved spending time with his family. Seagraves was preceded in death by his grandson, Cory Seagraves; parents, Hoyt and Annie Mae Seagraves; and his brother, L.B. Seagraves.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Louise Seagraves of Covington; son, Doug Seagraves of Loganville; granddaughter, Nicole and Justin Rushin of Evans; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and William Neal of Albany; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service for Mr. Seagraves will be held Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, 2 p.m., at Corinth Memorial Gardens, 1635 GA Highway 81 SW, in Loganville, with Don Hardison and Lester Waters officiating. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Rd., in Covington, Friday, November 14, from 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Corinth Christian Church, 1635 GA Highway 81 SW, Loganville, GA 30052; or another charity of one’s choice.
