Tony Lee Harris, 57, of Social Circle, passed away Dec. 23. Mr. Harris was a deacon and faithful member at Word of Life Tabernacle, Covington, and was a very strong witness for the Lord. He enjoyed deer and rabbit hunting and freshwater fishing. He was a livestock trader and operated a deer processing business during hunting season. Mr. Harris is loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Carl Harris Sr.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Gloria Harris of Social Circle; sons and daughters-in-law Lucas and Kim Harris of Covington, Kevin and Michelle Harris of Social Circle; grandchildren Michael Harris, Tyler Harris, Killan Harris, Kyle Harris, Nicole Harris, Kolton Harris; mother Myrtle Harris of Oxford; brothers and sisters-in-law Carl Jr. and Laura Harris of Social Circle, Lamar and Carole Harris of Lithonia; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Dec. 27 at World of Life Tabernacle with the Rev. Daniel Gissendaner and the Rev. Joe Reynolds officiating. Interment followed in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Flowers are accepted or a love offering may be made to the family.
