Thomas Richard Lagano, 52 of Jackson, passed away on April 5, 2016, while surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born on December 18, 1963, in Queens, N.Y. and grew up in Ulster County, New York and Palm Beach County, Florida. Tom had an entrepreneurial spirit, tremendous sense of humor and had us laughing until we cried. He loved to cook, but most of all he cherished time spent with his family. Tom was a beloved father, husband, son, brother, uncle and cousin. He will be dearly missed, but he will live forever in our hearts. He was predeceased by his son, Thomas R. Lagano.

Tom is survived by his devoted loving family: his wife Linda Lagano; sons, Daniel Lagano and Sean Lagano; step-daughter Denise Smith; daughter-in-law, Rachel Lagano; his parents, Ronald T. and Maureen Lagano; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Els Lagano; sisters and brothers-in-law, Christina and Jonathan Shaw, Tara and Bill Krieger; grandchildren, Anthony Lagano and James Lagano; mother- in- law, Ruth Honea; sister-in-law, Trisha Gibbs, brother -in-law and sister-in-law, Michael and Debbie Honea; aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews and many cousins also survive.

A memorial service will be held on April 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Wheeler Funeral Home in Covington with Charles Roper officiating.
