Mr. Stevin P. Herald, 49, of McLean passed away April 29 at his residence in McLean, Ill. The son of Darlene Herald Koberlein, he was born September 1963 in Bloomington, Ill. He was a 1981 graduate of Bloomington High School. He was previously employed for the Alamo II Bookstore in Normal, Ill. He had resided in Georgia for the last 10 years where he worked as a librarian. He had a vibrant personality and could impersonate Donald Duck. He was an avid piano player and traveled with the Singing Taylor Family. He had a love of music and throughout his life, performed in weddings and many venues. He was preceded in death by his brother Geoffrey Herald and uncles Floyd Herald, Willard Herald, Roger Herald and Garman. Mr. Herald will be sorely missed by his family and friends of Illinois and Georgia and his long-time friend for 30 years, Steven Eades.

Surviving are his mother Darlene (Dennis) Koberlein, McLean; brothers Timothy (Ron) Moore, Bloomington and Roderick (Keith) Moore, Cherry Valley; sister Angela (Colleen) Moore, Bloomington; aunt Zola (Pedro) Chavez, Bloomington; niece Ashley (Paul) Saylor, Bloomington; many aunts, uncles and cousins in the surrounding area.

Funeral services will be at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home, at 10 a.m., today, May 3, with Pastor Richard Gray officiating. Inurnment will be in Scogin Hill Cemetery in Bloomington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Advocate Bromenn Hospice.

There will be a Celebration of Life gathering for Mr. Herald here in Covington Sunday May 5, at 3 p.m. at Noring Farms on Floyd located at 5177 Floyd Street.
