Mr. Stephen Michael Williams, 59, of Covington, died May 14.

Mr. Williams grew up in Lithonia and was a 1972 graduate of Lithonia High School where he played basketball.

He was a dedicated employee of Georgia Power for more than 30 years and also worked at his father’s sawmill.

He was a Harley Davidson enthusiast and often loved to ride motorcycles.

Mr. Williams was a dedicated father and loving Paw Paw to his three grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his father Bill Williams.

Survivors include his daughter Gina Williams Oeland; son and daughter-in-law Jacob and Adrienne Rider Williams; mother Catherine "Kaki" Williams; sisters and brothers-in-law Deborah and Richard Duello, Sandra and Chris Weiser; grandsons Joseph Oeland, Lincoln Oeland and Tucker Williams; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service for Mr. Williams will be held noon tomorrow, May 18, at the Chapel of Caldwell and Cowan Funeral Home, located at 1215 Access Road,

The Rev. Mike Wadley will be officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, from 10 a.m. to noon, prior to the service.
