Shirley A. Gresham of Covington, died July 5, 2009, at the age of 72. Mrs. Gresham retired from Macy’s after more than 20 years of service. Born in Scottdale, GA, to the late James and Emma Jones Hardman, she loved spending time planting flowers at her home. Mrs. Gresham was a faithful member of Zion Baptist Church in Covington. Survivors include her loving husband, Horace Gresham; sons, Kenneth J. Gresham of McDonough, Steven D. Gresham of Covington; second cousin and close friend, Betty Hickman; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mrs. Gresham will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2009, 2 PM, at Zion Baptist Church, with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Rd., Tuesday, July 7, from 2-4 PM and 6-9 PM.
