The beginning of "time and season" for Ms. Shannikia LaToya White began on Saturday, November 10, 1979 in Newton County, Georgia.

Shannikia affectionately known as "Niki" was a fun, loving and free-spirited person. She loved her family unconditionally and had a smile that could light up any room.

Niki received her education from Dekalb County School System. Her passion to help others led her to attend and graduate from Everest Institute. Niki's desire to help others was evident throughtout her career path. Each road she traveled upon was used to help and serve others. She had a flair to effortlessly work with the elderly especially her grandmother.

Realizing that her "time and season" needed confirmation, Niki rededicated her life to Christ at Pleasant View Baptist Church. She had a love for singing and used her God given talent by serving faithfully in the choir. She would often perform an impromptu concert for her family, neighbors and job clients.

Niki's season of transition occurred on Tuesday, July 16, 2013. She leaves to celebrate her life and legacy, the love of her life, son, Nicholas Rontez White, parents, Mr. & Mrs. Ronnie (Rhonda) White and Mrs. Diane Petty Baisden, grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. W.C. (Louise) White, brothers, James (Raybone) Petty, Ronderrius White, sisters, Tawanda Travitt, Takiria White, Darvil Ferguson, Darreya Scott, dedicated aunt, Ms. Sarah White, devoted friends, Brian Helfin, Marisa Avery, Martina Nolley and Terika McCune and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

We praise and thank God for her "time" and "season" with us.
