Scotty Thomas May, Sr. age 57 of Monticello, GA died Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at his residence. He was born on January 9, 1953 in Frankfort, KY to Herman Lee and Pauline Gray Craig May Sr. He loved to hunt and fish, coaching and playing sports, building show cars, watching Kentucky Wildcats basketball and NASCAR. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Mr. May is survived by his wife: Mary Ann May; daughter and son-in-law: Jennifer and Margarito Rodriguez of Georgetown, KY; daughter: Stephany May of Newborn, GA; daughter and son-in-law: Christy and Lonnie Nichols of Mansfield, GA; son and daughter-in-law: Scotty and Amanda May, Jr. of Covington, GA; and son and daugther-in-law: Jeffery and Tiffany May of Covington, GA; brothers: Herman May, Floyd May, Mike May,Steve May; sisters: Carolyn May and Shirley May; 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father: Herman Lee May, Sr. and his brother: William "Bill" May. Services will be held at 2:00PM on September 12, 2010 at Chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Thompson officiating. Interment will be at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-9 pm.
